Job description

Overview Edifecs, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and professional individual to join our legal administrative team remotely with access to work in our India office if desired. The Contract Administrator (or Associate Counsel role) will assist with various responsibilities tied to our day-to-day legal tasks that are part of our contracting process. This includes but is not limited to: reviewing and negotiating contracts, tracking and maintaining contracts in our contracts database, ensuring that all records are accurate and up to date, requesting and maintaining all our certificates of insurance for our customer contracts, and sending contracts out for signature with DocuSign. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a contract administrator, junior counsel, or similar role.

What you will bring: Must have at least 5 years of Contract Administration experience either as a paralegal, senior legal administrator, or junior counsel. Must be detailed oriented. Direct experience with reviewing, negotiating, and drafting Customer and Vendor contracts. Knowledge of saving contracts in an organized manner. Knowledge of ordering COI’s. Knowledge of sending signature requests through Docusign Knowledge of document comparison tools. Must have knowledge of general computer use, MS Excel, MS Word Initiative to take on more tasks when schedule allows. Ability to self-check work and self-motivated. Must be able to prioritize workload. Multi-Tasker.
