We're Hiring: Database Adminstrator
We are looking for Database Adminstrator to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our technology stack. Company Description: 1X2 Network has pioneered iGaming development for over 2 decades and now encompasses several game development studio subsidiaries. We supply a broad array of over 750 games to Casino operators worldwide. Across its studios, 1X2 produces a variety of games, including slots, table games, virtual sports and non-traditional gaming experiences. #Role : Database Adminstrator #Experience : 3+ yrs #location : Hyderabad Required Experience : Proven experience as a MySQL Database Administrator. Strong expertise in performance optimization, query tuning, and database configuration. Experience with database monitoring tools and proactive issue resolution. Solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies. Familiarity with database security principles and compliance standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills/Experience : Knowledge of other database systems (e.g.MongoDB). Experience with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Redshift). Experience with Percona and Cluster DBs. Experience with big data technologies such as Kafka. Scripting skills (e.g. Python, Shell) for automation tasks. Certification in MySQL or related technologies is a bonus. Responsibilities Database Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize database performance by implementing best practices and tuning queries. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal database responsiveness. Database Configuration Tuning: Configure and fine-tune MySQL databases for optimal performance and reliability. Collaborate with development teams to optimize database schema and queries. Database Monitoring: Implement and maintain robust database monitoring solutions to proactively identify issues. Respond to alerts and incidents promptly, troubleshooting and resolving database-related problems. Backup and Recovery and Archiving: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. Conduct regular testing of backup and recovery processes. Regular archive database to maintain them in great condition. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce database security policies and access controls. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, to support application needs. Participate in the design and implementation of database solutions for new projects.
