We are inviting applications for the role of Manager/Senior Manager - Reinsurance
We are looking for professionals with Reinsurance domain experience who have a good understanding of upstream and downstream of Reinsurance Contracts and Accounting.
Responsibilities
. Ceded Premium/Loss Processing - Calculating and booking of ceded premiums & losses in the legacy system. Good knowledge in the reinsurance calculation of proportional/ non-proportional contracts
. Review & Preparation of Reinsurance Bordereau
. Cash Allocation in Ceded Application. (Preferably ProCede)
. Reinsurance Balance Payable and Receivable -Handling Reinsurance payments and collections
. Creating RI Journals, handling accounting transactions and Performing GL Reconciliations
. Review & Preparation of Reinsurance Bordereau
. Ensure the quarterly and yearly instructions are reviewed and incorporated
. Responsible for the review and analysis of financial results, including analysis of actual results compared with expectations, as well as prior periods
. Communicating with customer on day-to-day basis and internal stakeholder on regular basis
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
. Graduation in Commerce
. Relevant work experience
. Excellent Accounting conceptual knowledge to handle day to day operations and special events
Preferred qualifications
. Certification in P&C Insurance
. Good Reinsurance Knowledge and relevant years of experience in Reinsurance
Essential skills:
. Good analytical and problem solving skills
. Ability to communicate verbally and through emails with businesses
. Proven ability to build effective working relationships with clients & internal stakeholders
. Project Management and ability to manage multiple priorities
. Positive attitude with a focus on continuous process improvement and an open mind to change
. Ability to do root-cause analysis for process gaps highlighted
. Collaborative approach towards resolving the issues with stake
Technical skills:
. Excellent command on Excel tools from day to day operations delivery standpoint
. Well versed with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Visio & MS PowerPoint
. Excellent Reinsurance Bordereau/Accounting conceptual knowledge to handle day to day operations and special events
