Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our team at OptimHire. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic that powers our web applications. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience, and the work location is in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The employment type for this role is full-time.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language
- Experience in working with Django and GraphQL frameworks
- Familiarity with FastAPI and MySQL database
- Knowledge of AWS services for deploying and scaling applications
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable server-side code
- Collaborate with the frontend development team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Implement data storage solutions and integration with various databases
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the front and back end
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
- Debug and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure the best practices are implemented
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
