Responsibilities:
- OPD Billing:Patient Registration:Assist patients during the registration process, ensuring accurate and complete information is collected
- Verify insurance details and update patient records accordingly
- Billing and Invoicing:Assist in generating invoices for outpatient services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to billing procedures
- Collaborate with the billing team to address any billing-related inquiries
- Payment Processing:Collect co-payments, deductibles, and other payments from patients
- Provide clear and accurate information on billing inquiries and available payment options
- Documentation:Maintain organized and up-to-date records of outpatient billing activities
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards and privacy regulations
- Front Office:Appointment Scheduling:Assist in managing appointment schedules, coordinating with medical staff for efficient use of resources
- Provide information on available appointment slots and assist in scheduling patient appointments
- Patient Check-In/Check-Out:Facilitate the check-in and check-out process for patients, ensuring a smooth flow of operations
- Provide necessary information and instructions to patients regarding their visit
- Customer Service:Address inquiries and concerns from patients, ensuring a high level of customer service
- Maintain a welcoming and positive environment for patients at the front desk
- Phone Management:Answer incoming calls, route calls to the appropriate departments, and take messages as needed
- Provide information and assistance to callers regarding appointments and general inquiries
- Appointment Reminders:Assist in contacting patients to confirm upcoming appointments and provide pre-visit instructions
- Support in rescheduling appointments as needed
