Overview
The QC Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products or processes within the organization. They are responsible for implementing quality assurance procedures conducting tests and identifying defects to maintain high standards of production and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures.
- Conduct tests and inspections to identify defects and noncompliance issues.
- Analyze data to determine areas for improvement in the quality system.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve qualityrelated issues.
- Create and maintain quality documentation and reports.
- Participate in the development and review of quality standards and specifications.
- Train and educate staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize problemsolving techniques to address quality issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality processes.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier quality and performance.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry quality standards and regulations.
- Support the development and implementation of new quality initiatives.
- Ensure that all qualityrelated activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality control or relevant engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in quality management tools and software.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of industry quality standards and regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Certification in quality management or related field is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in conducting audits and inspections.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace new quality initiatives.
- Proficient in collecting analyzing and interpreting data.
