Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accessioning Officer at Hitech Diagnostic Centre in Chennai. The Accessioning Officer will be responsible for receiving, identifying, and labeling specimens for testing and analysis, providing accurate and timely test results, maintaining laboratory data, and adhering to laboratory safety protocols. The Accessioning Officer will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining inventory supplies and equipment related to their work.
Qualifications
- Experience in Medical Laboratory Science
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in computer software programs related to laboratory data management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow laboratory safety protocols and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Certification from a recognized accrediting agency is preferred
