As a Facilities Engineering Manager Staff, you will play a key role in co-ordinating support activities across the engineering team and some stream engineering activities. You will act as a single point of contact with a number of functions to support in the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the product stream.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following:

• Hands on Maintenance including trouble shooting, problem solving and fixing issues by corrective and preventive actions and also Identifies maintenance needs for equipment in the areas of accountability based on criticality of use and impact on quality of product.
• Maintains Preventive Maintenance(Routine) and Non-Routine Maintenance records and the data entered in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) & Plans preventive and predictive maintenance for optimum machine performance at minimum cost.
• Ensures availability of optimum quantity of spares to minimize down time.
• Adheres strictly to the zero access and safe machine guarding procedures as per the GSK EHS guidelines & Ensures that permit to work and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) system is strictly followed in their respective areas of work as per GSK EHS guidelines.
• Provide Training  as per Curricula to non Management staff and contractors of your area and timely submission of Training records to concerned person.   
• Allocates manpower with suitable skills & Plans Shift including job allocation for Engg.Technicians and Engineering contractor staff / Vendors, Suppliers and co-ordination with production department
• Ensure that all risks for department are identified, assessed and mitigated in accordance with risk management principles
• To support and drive on going CAPAs/Deviations/Changes which are being implemented in the area.
• Problem solving at shop floor & Trouble shooting & Performing RCA  of breakdown and develop CAPA & Works on finding solution to avoid repetitive issues.

• Effectively utilization of GPS tools as day to day ways of working
• No open ZAP> 90 days pending for closure.
• Proactive identification of risk

A. Educational Background:

1. Minimum Level of Education: NCTVT Fitter / Diploma

- Area of Specialisation: Mechanical 

2. Preferred Level of Education: Diploma

- Area of Specialisation: Mechanical

B. Job-Related Experience:

Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience required : 5 Years Hands on troubleshooting and maintenance experience on   Packaging and manufacturing equipment, with ability to resolve issues independently in shift.

C. Other Job-Related Skills/Background:

Hands on troubleshooting and maintenance on the packaging/manufacturing equipment.
