Advise customers on bank services for their needs (e.g. loans and credit cards)
Manage customer bank accounts; open, close and oversee transactions
Resolve issues with banking services and accounts
Refer clients to inhouse financial experts, as needed
Reach out to potential customers to generate new business
Present financial products and services to existing and prospective customers
Perform administrative duties (e.g. entering data into banking software)
Champion the one-stop personal banking services at branches
Explore and develop long-term banking relationships with customers
Identify existing and prospective customers' needs of financial services, including both products & services
Appropriately map and provide relevant and suitable financial products & services to meet existing and prospective customers' needs, including but not limited to bank account opening, mortgage, credit card, personal loan, insurance and other banking products & services
Positively contribute and build the Branch's teamwork and team-spirit
Support branch operations, including but not limited to the coordination and liaison with other internal departments of the Bank
Ensure compliance requirements are strictly observed and followed, contribute as part of the Bank's bigger anti-money laundry (AML) team
Educate and train juniors, if needed
Assist customers daily in opening and closing accounts, and cross-sell related products such as overdraft protection; refer other sales opportunities such as college financial planning to appropriate personal banker
Help customers with tasks such as resolving account issues, putting in special account instructions, making wire and telephone transfers, and handling stop payments
Meet with manager to set and exceed sales goals for a diverse customer base
Help customers understand what is happening with their money and to feel confident in the banks ability to help
Take over bank teller duties when needed, maintaining top quality in front-line coverage
Maintain professional appearance and behavior for customers at all times
