About The Role

In this opportunity as Senior Architect - Technology, you will:

We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to make intuitive high-level decisions for software development. The Senior Software Architect will be the driving force behind the architectural vision and technical excellence of our platform and will guide the technical development to create cutting-edge, scalable, and reliable software modules. The Senior Software Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to align technical strategies with business objectives.

  • Proven experience as a software architect
  • 16-18 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on software architecture & design, and technical leadership
  • 4-year degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field
  • Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
  • Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and technologies used in modern software development
  • Experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing
  • Security-conscious mindset, with the ability to implement security measures within the architecture.
  • Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods
  • Understanding of software quality assurance principles
  • A technical mindset with great attention to detail
  • High-quality organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
  • Experience in Project Management and Project Documentation
  • Working knowledge of Python, Django, PostgreSQL and ReactJS
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems

About You

You're a fit for the role of Senior Architect - Technology if your background includes:

  • Experience in Python code, as it relates to project, needs for reporting / mathematical/statistical computation/integration with database and UI platforms.
  • Software Architecture, Python, React, DevOps, Automation Scripting, Restapi, CICD, Flask, SQL, AWS hosting, JIRA, SCRUM, AL/ML
  • Experience in React front-end programming
  • Write automation scripts to access files and manage code in the Linux file system.
  • Extensive knowledge of Python (built-in functions, data types, exception handling, numeric and mathematical modules, programming modules, reporting, markup language processing support, UI support, etc.)
  • Skills in cloud services from AWS and Azure, as well as design DevOps
  • Expertise in creating shell scripts to use Linux file systems for server-side management
  • Knowledge of Java front-end integration (with Python using Flask for REST communication)
  • Knowledge of concurrent execution, threading, distributed computing, parallel processing
  • Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
  • Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interfaces of desired product
  • Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
  • Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
  • Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to the development team
  • Oversee the progress of the development team to ensure consistency with the initial design
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
  • Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc
