ï'· Virtualization and consolidation of server technologies, specifically VMware vSphere and ESXi Virtual Infrastructure;
ï'· Shell scripting experience with PowerShell, bash, Perl and/or Python
Job description
ï'· The VMware Admin is responsible for implementing, tuning and maintaining VMware-based solutions.
ï'· A successful candidate will have knowledge of VMware 6.0 or higher using Virtual Center for administration.
ï'· The VMware Admin is responsible for the 24x7 day to day administrative and operations activities for VMware vCenter. Solid technical experience as well as good communication skills is essential. Interfaces with other organizations (Server Operations, Storage Operations, Engineering, etc.) on a daily basis.
Requirements:
ï'· 5+ years of experience in virtualization and consolidation of server technologies, specifically VMware vSphere and ESXi Virtual Infrastructure;
ï'· Shell scripting experience with PowerShell, bash, Perl and/or Python.
Preferred Skills:
ï'· VMware Certified Associate (VCP6-DCV, VMware VCP6-NV, VMware VCA6-NV, CAPA) certificate;
ï'· Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently;
ï'· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
