About Us : The Souled Store is a homegrown youth casual-wear brand started in 2013. We are one of India’s largest online merchandising platform with licenses like Disney, Warner Bros., WWE, IPL, Viacom18 to name a few. Apart from selling products with themed designs such as superheroes, movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand also is at the forefront of the latest youth style and fashion trends. In addition to core men and women wear apparel categories, we are also in the process of expanding to new categories and introducing new product lines in the existing categories like activewear, supima products, innerwear, personal care products like perfumes and very recently launched footwear and kidswear.
Although we are primarily an online brand, we’ve expanded in the offline retail space as well and have six offline stores in Mumbai, one in Pune, one in Bangalore, one in Delhi, with plans for expansion pan India. The Souled Store was born out of the idea of loving what you do, from the soul. We believe that people do their best work when they love what they do. There are too many Monday mornings and you can’t go dreading every single one of them. Responsibilities : Combining hand-drawing and painting with digital media to create complete illustrations Refining designs with illustration software Using various colors, graphics and effects to better convey each concept Obtain design approval through the submission of rough arrangements/layouts/sketches of ideas from your senior management. Executing design concepts based on illustration on Apparels & accessories (T-shirt, dresses, shirts, shoes etc.) for licensed merchandise like Marvel, DC, Harry potter, Friends etc and non-licensed merchandise and cliental projects. Obtain input from management, ensure designs meet organisational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately that represent the company or client appropriately at the same time it is important to bring upon creative, trendy and novel ideas periodically. Key responsibility- End to end design execution where the responsibility will begin from designing to final product execution. Skills & Qualifications : Proficient with different design softwares like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop. A strong portfolio of illustration in a similar industry. Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software. Drawing skills with an attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and coordinate with cross-functional teams and colleagues as necessary. A keen eye for aesthetics and details. Team player with ability to prioritize & handle multiple projects to meet deadlines. Education & Experience : 3+ years experience designing for an apparel brand or similar. Bachelor of Fine Art/ Design or related field.Job tags
