Job Description This is a 100% remote part-time position for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Manufacturing Leadership Program, who will serve in an educational capacity. This role will be responsible for writing instructional materials, developing assessment activities, reviewing lecture videos, and generally consulting on the subject area for an online program whose target audience will be current or aspiring senior executives. This is a great role for someone who wants work flexibility and the chance to diversify their resume with consultancy and teaching experience. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any related field. Master’s in manufacturing development or management. 10+ years in a Manufacturing Leadership Role providing guidance in a successful day-to-day operation of a manufacturing facility. Proven experience understanding of the principles and applications associated with manufacturing operations, maintenance and engineering. Proven experience coordinating, planning, and directing all activities that go into a production process. Proven Experience in systems thinking, design processes and principles. Knowledge of Uncertainty and Risk Mitigation, as well as developing and executing manufacturing budgets. Experience implementing safety systems of rules and policies. Proven experience in developing a quality management process, with strong knowledge in inventory and supplier management. Knowledge in AI/ML Manufacturing processes, Workforce Tech (Simulations, Models, Applications of AR and Ubiquitous Sensors), Cybersecurity. Strong oral and written communication skills in the manufacturing industry setting across functional roles and stakeholders. Proven experience working in finance with cost accounting, long-term cost analysis, budgeting, key financial terms, and concepts in manufacturing systems. Must be able to work without visa restrictions or sponsorship . Must be willing to submit to a background check . Key Responsibilities Create assignments, activities, knowledge checks, and quizzes. Review assignments. Review draft and final video edits. Review assignments and video content from existing courses and determine how to best repurpose it for this program. Identify additional resources. Write or edit connective text for videos and activities. Time Commitment Estimated 10 hours per module.
