Job Overview
We are seeking a Purchasing Executive to join our team at A L Paper House. As a Purchasing Executive, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and equipment for our Handmade Paper & Paper Products Exporter company. This is a full-time position based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, with a junior level of experience required (1-3 years).
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of purchasing principles, practices, and procedures
- Familiarity with Handmade Paper & Paper Products is a plus
- Excellent negotiation and bargaining skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery
- Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Roles and Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and procure materials and equipment required for production
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and pricing
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to ensure optimal stock levels
- Work closely with the production and manufacturing teams to understand their requirements and provide necessary support
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize purchasing processes
- Keep updated with industry trends, market conditions, and new product development related to Handmade Paper & Paper Products
- Prepare and analyze purchasing reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
