Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse specialized in Laparoscopy OT to join our team. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, providing patient care, and ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Rural, Karnataka, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Mid-Level: 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar role
- Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license
- Specialization and experience in Laparoscopy OT
- Knowledge of laparoscopic surgery techniques and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
- Proficiency in OT Gyneac and other related surgical procedures
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and setup of the operating room for laparoscopic procedures
- Ensure the availability of necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Assist the surgical team during laparoscopic surgeries and procedures
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after surgery
- Administer medications and anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist
- Document patient information, surgical details, and post-operative care
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of quality patient care
- Maintain a sterile and safe operating room environment
- Provide support and guidance to patients and their families
