Job description
Job Title: Software/Sr. Test Engineer-Automation and Product Test-Immediate Joiners.This role is responsible for initiating, improving, and driving the automation for a product in the MSP space primarily for security space. An in-depth understanding of Automation, IT operations, and client satisfaction will be utilized to drive our team's success in providing top-notch IT solutions and support.Essential Skills and Responsibilities:- Candidate must have at least 3-8 years of strong experience in Automation testing at scale. Experience in cypress, REST assured, Locust is desirable.- Design and maintain test data, test cases, and test scripts for projects to ensure the continued high level of quality in our business systems.- Hands-on with product automation with strong knowledge of Selenium and adapt to Cypress.- Manual and development of automation scripts in Cypress/Selenium/Protractor/JavaScript is a must.- Experience in creating Scripts for data loads and Upgrades for data migrations and data validation testing.- Experience in performance testing- Scripting Language Knowledge - Shell/Python.- Testing Framework Experience - JUnit/TestNg/NUnit/Cucumber/Mocha.- Experience with test automation, analysis of test cases to identify candidate cases for automation vs- Experience to API Testing Rest/Web Service/API (Postman/Swagger).- Develop, execute and implement test scenarios and automate test scripts for applications built upon Python, python/go/rust/angular applications.- Perform testing in development and QA environments to ensure the delivery of quality end results with automation.- Deep understanding of product domains worked on Strong exposure to CI/CD , ansible, networking, and version control systems.- Good understanding of on-premise applications.- Strong understanding of running production-grade application deployments along with its process management.- Work with the Engineering and Support team, with a high attention to detail.- Identifies bugs, security, and performance issues and works to create a high-quality product(s).- Assists in the development and maintenance of processes, while completing development and support tasks.- Passion for learning new technologies and solving customer pain points.- Mentor new colleagues and make the team successful.- Commitment and Ownership in completing tasks without supervision.- Resourceful- Can learn and do Quick POCs as per business requirements.Educational/Previous Experience :- BE/BTech, ME/MTech, MCA with Percentage above 70%.- Good Written and Spoken English.- 3-8 years of relevant experience.Interview Process :- Your application will be screened within 30 days or as per the placement process at your Centre.- Candidates for Engineering positions will go through 2 rounds of technical interviews and a manager round.- Each round will be approximately 1 hour, which is then followed by a managerial round and an HR Round.- Please note that all rounds will be done subject to feedback provided in the earlier round.- There will be a face-to-face interview at the Bangalore office during the final rounds.What to Expect during Technical Interview :- Questions that show you have problem-solving ability.- We would love to see you code and how you solve technical problems.- Questions about modules you have used to date while automating applications.- Agility and Adaptability to technology and environment.Working Conditions :Preferably Onsite at BangaloreAbility to own and take work to completion without constant supervisionTravel:0-20% (ref:hirist.tech)
