Job Description
Reporting to the COO you will be responsible for:
- Leading project construction and management activities to complete the project within approved timeline and cost with 100% adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
- Project Management & Governance, project planning, conceptualizing & implementing engineering solutions, scheduling, requirement management, resource management, financial & scope management, cost estimation, risk analysis and successful closure of complex projects as per set guidelines, statutory regulations and HSEQ requirements.
- Preparation of project budgets, commitment, and cash flow.
- Evaluating feasibility studies conducted and share recommendations on the way forward with management.
- Overseeing all projects to ensure completion on time and within budget, using best-in-class resources!
- Managing project financials and develop guidelines on resource mobilization to sufficiently supplement project requirements based on scope.
- Contract & Tender Administration, Estimates Preparation, Terms & Conditions Development, Rate Analysis, Negotiations, Bid Evaluation, Change Order Preparation, Claims Management, Invoicing & Billing, Contractual Coordination (Vendors, Clients & Subcontractor) and Dispute Management.
- Providing periodic reports about existing and upcoming projects to the management and ensure it is in line with the overall business objectives
The Successful Applicant
Ideally you have around 20 years of experience in end to end project execution of blast furnace projects, casting house, sintering, smelting etc in your career. You have executed a project from concept to commissioning on foreign soil and are willing to be deputed to an international region preferrably in the USA or Europe.
