As we expand our team, we are currently seeking an experienced IT Manager to play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of all IT systems specific to elevator technology, including hardware, software, networks, and security.
2. Collaborate with department heads to understand their technology needs within the elevator industry and develop strategies to meet business objectives.
3. Lead and mentor the IT team, ensuring efficient operations, timely issue resolution, and adherence to IT policies and procedures tailored to elevator systems.
4. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and upgrades to enhance the company's IT capabilities in the elevator sector.
5. Develop and implement IT security measures specific to elevator systems to safeguard company data and operations.
6. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers in the elevator technology space to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and services.
7. Collaborate with project teams to integrate technology solutions into elevator manufacturing and maintenance processes.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies within the elevator sector to provide strategic recommendations for the company's IT roadmap.
9. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry best practices relevant to elevator technology.
10. Maintain accurate records of IT assets, projects, and incident responses related to elevator systems.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in IT management within the elevator industry, demonstrating a successful track record of overseeing complex IT infrastructures specific to elevators.
3. Strong technical knowledge in areas such as elevator control systems, networking, and cybersecurity within the elevator sector.
4. Excellent leadership and people management skills.
5. Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams within the elevator technology domain.
6. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities tailored to elevator systems.
