Job Roles & Responsibilities Component development Development of Speedometer E.g., Digital & Mechanical Speedo, Fuel Level Sensor Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: Component development of Digital, Mechanical Speedo & Fuel Level Sensor Knowledge of complete life cycle of development of Speedo Knowledge of machines / tooling / fixtures / gauges used in manufacturing of Speedo assemblies. Knowledge of materials used in Speedo assemblies. Knowledge of testing of components and homologation requirements for domestic and export markets (AIS, ECE, FMVSS, VSCC, CCC) Knowledge and practice of DFMEA, PFMEA. Cost estimation and settlement for part, tooling, and fixture cost. Knowledge of quality systems. Specific expertise required for functional area: Knowledge of complete dev life cycle of development of Speedo Knowledge of machines / tooling / fixtures / gauges Cost estimation – part and tooling.
