Video Strategist

About The Job If you're a one-person film crew with big ideas and serious tech chops, we've got a job for you. Vendasta is looking for a videographer with experience in every part of the production process to help take our online video marketing to the next level.
Vendasta specializes in sales and marketing software for digital agencies and media companies. Our partners include some of the most successful names in the industry, and they sell our platform to local businesses who use it to build their online presence. This position requires you to use your skills to create high-quality videos that will tell our story and stand out among the competition.
Whether you're from a prestigious film school or the School of Hard Knocks, we promise that we'll take a look at your reel and give it a fair shot. In other words, show us your stuff and let it speak for itself.
This role will have rotational week offs and night shifts 7.30 PM to 4.30 AM IST to support Canadian business hours and will be an in-office role. A cab service will be provided.
Your Impact - Produce high-quality videos that tell Vendasta's story and show off our platform
- Keep videos up to date as our platform evolves and more components are added
- Work with copywriters and designers to plan video shoots based on our objectives
- The film, edit, compress, and upload footage from Vendasta-related events, including weekly company meetings, local conferences, tech meetups, and more.
What You Bring To The Table - 3+ years experience in videography
- Proficient with industry-standard NLE software, such as Adobe Premiere or FCP
- Familiar with DSLR workflows
- Experience with Adobe After Effects or other motion graphics software
- Familiar with studio lighting and audio recording best practices
- Experience with audio editing software, such as Soundtrack Pro or Adobe Audition
- Organized and diligent with strong attention to detail
- Able to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
