The primary role is in the data landscape. You will be responsible for creating and improving data pipelines. This role also requires backend development. The ideal candidate will be passionate to learn and grow at a fast-paced startup.
Job Description :
- Design, build, deploy and own data pipelines end-to-end
- Connect with stakeholders and translate the requests into clear requirements
- Set up proper monitoring and alerts for all the pipelines developed
- Design, develop, and implement new backend services and applications in Java
Job Requirement :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/ Computer Science field
- 1+ years of experience in building data solutions across multiple platforms and services
- Abstract knowledge of cloud platforms(AWS, GCP, etc.) and their functionalities
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and experience building them with large-scale, complex datasets using the traditional or map-reduce batch mechanism
- Experience managing distributed systems like Kafka and a server-less data warehouse like Big Query
- Experience with relational databases like Postgres, MySQL etc. along with no-SQL databases like Firestore, DynamoDB, Cassandra etc
- Experience with Warehouse- BigQuery, Workflow Management - Stitch, Airflow, Data Pipelines
- Curious, self-motivated & a self-starter with a 'can-do attitude'
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Good to have 1+ years of experience in writing microservices in Java/Scala or any object-oriented language
- Good to have experience with reporting tools like Tableau or other BI packages
