About The Role

Specialist - Legal and Compliance Solutions

Location: Hyderabad, India

About the Role:

Our Legal and Compliance Solutions team is looking for legal professionals who will be responsible to support and perform Legal and Compliance related activities for Legal Teams, Compliance Professionals and other Novartis Business Stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Work on contract management systems that includes CDAs, Consultancy Agreements, Vendor Agreement, MSA and other contracts of similar complexity level in direct contact with the business Clients and with Global Legal.

2.Support Compliance and Operational related activities involving compliance risk analysis, Compliance monitoring, reporting, and working on internal tool maintained by Novartis to enable the compliance operations.

3.Ability to understand client requirements and take complete ownership of the engagement for compliance and contract process. you most of the tasks are taken up and lessen the burden of business teams.

4.Conduct research on any query on compliance/contract policies and guide the business teams accordingly.

5.Support the team to handle business Clients and contacts (at global and local levels) with limited supervision by Team Lead/Manager.

6.Maintains the overview on timelines and deliverables in all assigned projects.

Role Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • Law Degree LLB/LLM, Business, Finance, IT, Pharma)
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in shared services in one of Procurement, F&A and Legal Services.
  • Has led shared service transformation with solid business outcomes.
  • Has good client relationship skills.
  • Has led delivery teams performing operational and performance management
  • Pharmaceutical industry domain knowledge – desirable
  • Has consulting experience including design thinking, agile development, transition/transformation management.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Fair understanding on MIS reporting and advanced MS-office skills (Especially on MS-Word, MS-Excel (Macros and VBA coding preferred) and MS-PowerPoint)
  • Fundamentally equipped with Compliance processes and tools with relevant work experience
  • Ability to learn and understand data from various source
  • Pharmaceutical industry domain knowledge
