Job Summary:
As a Senior Academic Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in assisting students and professionals in their pursuit of education and career advancement abroad. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive academic counseling services, including evaluating academic backgrounds, identifying suitable programs and institutions, and offering guidance on the application process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students and professionals to assess their educational and career goals.
• Evaluate academic qualifications, work experience, and interests to recommend appropriate study programs and institutions.
• Provide expert advice on the admission process, including application documentation, standardized tests, and financial requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in international education and immigration policies.
• Assist candidates in preparing strong application essays, resumes, and other necessary documents.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars on study abroad options, application strategies, and interview preparation.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions and progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and meet team targets.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to the growth of the consultancy by generating referrals and promoting our services.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in academic counseling, preferably in the study abroad consultancy field.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Strong understanding of international education systems, universities, and programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and educational counseling software.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to adapt to changing industry trends and regulations.

The salary for this position is negotiable and will be offered based on the candidate's qualifications and experience and performance.
