Job description

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ecommerce Manager to oversee and drive our online sales efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and sales analytics. They will be responsible for managing our online store, optimizing product listings, and implementing strategies to increase website traffic and sales conversions.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage all aspects of our ecommerce platform, including product listings, inventory management, pricing, and promotions. 2. Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic to the website and increase online sales. 3. Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, such as traffic, conversion rate, and average order value, and identify areas for improvement. 4. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive strategies to inform ecommerce strategy. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align ecommerce initiatives with overall business objectives. 6. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in ecommerce, digital marketing, and technology developments. 7. Optimize the user experience on the website to improve navigation, search functionality, and overall customer satisfaction. 8. Manage relationships with third-party websites, including payment processors, shipping providers, and ecommerce platform providers. 9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to ecommerce operations, including data privacy and security. 10. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on ecommerce performance, including key metrics, successes, and challenges.

Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in ecommerce management, with a track record of driving online sales growth. 3. Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce, and proficiency in website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics. 4. Experience developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, and paid advertising. 5. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making and strategy development. 6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 8. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results and continuous improvement. 9. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and drive innovation and creativity in ecommerce initiatives.
