We are seeking a Legal (Data) Analyst for a pioneer global law firm. Our client is the market leader in combining the expertise of Traditional Law, the efficiency of New Law, and the close business integration of In-house legal team to deliver complex legal work at scale.

Our client manages corporate and commercial contracts for Fortune 500 companies within financial, Technology and pharmaceutical industries and is comprised of more than 500 lawyers, legal specialists, technologists, and process consultants across Europe and North America.

The Role:

This role is an opportunity to develop legal and contract operations experience through working with legal delivery teams and interfacing with non-legal functions throughout our clients' business. The incumbent will have the opportunity to work with various tools utilized by the legal department(s) including the team's matter management systems, billing system, knowledge management site and the contract lifecycle management system.

This is a client-facing role where the Legal Operations Analyst is responsible for matter reporting coordination and legal operations administration delivery; as well as interfacing with the business partner(s) (internal and external) for such activities.

Responsibilities:

• Matter requests assessment, tracking and reporting – including producing insights (as directed);
• Liaise with client and client business stakeholders using Email and Teams / Zoom / Video calls;
• Perform administrative tasks in support of the efficient running of the legal department;
• Respond to and deal with ad hoc queries and requests from the client related to admin tasks;
• Matter requests queue tracking – validating requests and uploading and profiling key legal meta tag reporting fields – chasing business stakeholders for missing information (and updating key legal tools and systems) to ensure accuracy of data and associated reporting;
• Follow standard operating procedures for proper status updating on client systems;
• Follow up and escalate unresolved issues with relevant stakeholders as necessary;
• Document existing processes and, where appropriate, recommend ways to improve them in order to drive efficiency;
• Assist with onboarding and implementing tool changes for the legal team and with maintaining existing tools;
• Provide support for corporate governance and compliance matters;
• Create and manage subsidiary legal compliance calendar and assist with compliance efforts;
• Assist with legal department analytics by pulling key performance indicators for the various practice areas from various tools (i.e. SFDC, ServiceNow, etc);
• Provide general Legal Operations support, including project management, process management, troubleshooting, administrative tasks and supporting other drivers of operational effectiveness for the team and the legal department;
• Use of tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, Access, MS Power Apps etc to produce reports and identify errors and anomalies in data that could affect the accuracy of business reporting;
• Provide ad hoc support as needed

Skills, Experience & Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Math, Analytics or Engineering
• Over 3 years of experience with Legal Operations Administration and data analytics;
• User experience of contract management and matter management tools;
• Experience with tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, MS Excel, Access, ServiceNow preferred
• Ability to work in video camera 'ON' at all times environment;
• Highly organized and mature outlook with the ability to give attention to details
• Able to Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders.
• Excellent fluency in English and Numeracy;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders from different disciplines outside of and within a team;
• Ability to operate in a dynamic and fast paced environment;
• Demonstrates a comfort with a broad spectrum of technology, with focus on workflow and CRM tools;
• Experience of contract management;
• Experience of working in a legal operations role for a large multi-national technology client would be a plus
