Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Researcher. The Senior Researcher is responsible for conducting in-depth research in quantum cryptography, encryption, and communication. They will work closely with the team of quantum researchers, experts, and specialists to innovate and develop new products and solutions. They will also be required to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in quantum research.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Physics
• Strong background in quantum cryptography and communication research
• Experience with hardware design for quantum communication a plus
• Experience in coding and simulation tools such as Qiskit, Matlab, Mathematica, Python
• Ability to work well within a team and collaborate on research projects
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with industry and government standards related to quantum technologies

Additional skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for the position include experience in implementing quantum key distribution and related post-quantum cryptography schemes, experience in hardware-oriented research, and familiarity with quantum machine learning.
