Manager - Analytics (Machine Learning)
Role Purpose:
Manager, Analytics (Machine Learning) is responsible for or the development of AI solutions to support the business on driving insights from analytics in an automated and self learning way O wn engineering responsibilities of different AI solutions such as but not limited too Classification models, forecasting models, Image recognition, Natural language processing, etc. The role holder is to i ndependently manage and influence Senior stakeholders & Analytics Leads across carrefour towards unified vision to drive an impactful data culture. Support analytics leads in driving analytics strategy and optimizations to directly/indirectly impact critical business KPIs.

Scope
Data Collection: Collect, clean, and preprocess large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources, such as databases, APIs, web scraping, and sensor data.
Data Analysis: Apply statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations within the data. Use tools like Python, R, or specialized data analysis software.
Model Development: Develop predictive models, classification algorithms, and other machine learning models to solve specific business problems or improve processes.
Data Visualization: Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or data visualization libraries in Python.
Feature Engineering: Identify and engineer relevant features from raw data to improve model performance.
Data Interpretation: Interpret the results of analyses and models to provide actionable recommendations and insights that can guide strategic decision-making.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, engineers, and domain experts, to define project objectives and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and data analytics to apply cutting-edge techniques and tools.
Ethical Considerations: Ensure data privacy, security, and ethical considerations are adhered to throughout the data science process.
Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of data sources, methodologies, and models for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
Communication: Ensure communication with Managers and Snr. Managers, committees, consultants and various stakeholder to recommend and strategies, and share innovative ideas on a regular basis.

Minimum Qualifications/education
Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or any other relevant field
MBA or other advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
E-commerce experience preferred.
Minimum experience
6+ years of experience in ML/AI/Data Science related field
Skills
I n depth understanding on cloud computing, i.e. Different databases, running ETLs, composing complex queries on known cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, etc.
In depth understanding on building predictive analytics models using AI & machine learning
Experience in algorithm development and software design
Experience in Python, Java, C++, Bash and Linux
Experience in agile software engineering cycle.
Strong communication and story telling skills
Ability to work in a fast paced start-up environment
Proactive & execution focused approach with high ownership & accountability
