Brief Overview of the Job Description:

The Program Manager at our client will lead efforts in scaling up the distribution of Vitamin A vials to pregnant women and children under the age of 6 across India.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and execute strategies to expand the distribution from 600K to 100 million vials.
2. Coordinate with local communities, healthcare providers, and NGOs for distribution efforts.
3. Oversee the logistics and supply chain management to ensure timely delivery.
4. Monitor and report on the progress of distribution activities.
5. Develop relationships with local authorities and community leaders.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines during distribution.
7. Train and lead a team for effective field operations.
8. Manage budgets and resources efficiently.
9. Gather data and insights for continuous improvement of operations.
10. Represent the organization in meetings with partners.
11. Facilitate community engagement and awareness programs.
12. Address and resolve challenges faced during field operations.

Technologies to be used: Basic MS Office, Supply Chain Management Software.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Health, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in field operations, supply chain, or NGO work, especially in rural settings.
• Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role is preferred.

Knowledge: Understanding of public health issues, supply chain and logistics, rural community dynamics.

Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in challenging environments.

Attitude: Committed to clients' mission, adaptable, empathetic, and resilient.

Work Environment: Office work.

Key Performance Indicators: Increase in vial distribution numbers, efficiency in supply chain management, team performance.
