Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer with a proven track record in crafting exceptional user experiences for e-commerce websites and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with technical proficiency, possessing a deep understanding of UI/UX design and development and a passion for creating intuitive, visually appealing, and conversion-driven interfaces.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years experience as a UX designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful e-commerce and mobile application project
- Excellent understanding of frontend development, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and understand technical constraint
Requirements:
- Expertise in UX/UI design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for creating and editing visual assets is preferred.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and the latest industry trends.
- Experience with complete eCommerce development lifecycle. Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders. Well-versed with reporting and documentation skills.
- Strong understanding of modern UI/UX trends and familiarity with responsive design and accessibility standards.
- Experience in conducting A/B testing and utilizing data-driven insights to optimize user experiences. Experience using analytics, user research and other approaches to help make decisions and iterate on the product.
- Self-motivated, a good communicator, and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines. Ability to work with GitHub / Bitbucket version controlling system. Ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the UX design process for e-commerce platforms and mobile applications from concept to execution, ensuring a seamless user journey and optimal user interaction.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketers to translate business goals and user needs into exceptional design solutions.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather insights to inform design decisions and enhance the overall user experience.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in UX/UI design.
