Overall Objective

  • Responsible for smooth Accounts Payables operations – accounting, payments, reconciliations.
  • Providing accounting support and guidance to internal customers.
  • Responsible for coordination with team members of Finance Team, other departments of the organization, suppliers, Business Support Center, Invoice Processors

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all vendor invoices are processed In timely manner, In compliance to WHT, GST requirements, to appropriate GL Accounts and Cost-centers, according to relevant GoA requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to other functions of the organization in areas of selecting appropriate GL Accounts, Cost Centers, WHT requirements, GST tax codes.
  • Coordinating with vendors for ensuring GST queries are resolved and organization does not loose any GST Input Tax Credit.
  • Work closely with Shared Service Center for in-time accounting of vendor invoices. Ensure service deliverables are monitored regularly. Support Invoice Processors with any required guidance on WHT / GST areas.
  • Work closely with external service providers for monthly/periodical WHT compliances.
  • Execution of audit activities related to the portfolio, preparation of schedules, overviews required for audit.
  • Support internal teams for preparing periodical MIS.
  • Providing data to support management's decision-making function.
  • Execution of proper records management

Education

  • . Com / M. Com / Inter - CMA/ Inter - CA

Experience

  • +3-5 years of Accounts Payable Operations
  • Well-versed with WHT and GST requirements
  • Experience in Tally Accounting
  • Good communicator
  • Good Microsoft Excel, Data Management Skills
  • Experience in SAP STS, FICO modules and experience in dealing with Shared Service Centers – Added advantage.
