Job description

Inviting applicants for Environmental Specialist & Safety Expert role for Kochi Metro Rail project.

Responsibilities :

• Monitoring Implementation of Environmental Management Plan.
• Should be having in-depth knowledge and awareness of all relevant applicable codes and rules for the project.
• Ensure every project member has knowledge of Environment policy of company.
• Each Member of team had gone through 9 lifesaving rules.
• Each individual had gone through the Anti-Corruption training.
• Instigate and organize information and training sessions dealing with health and safety,
• Organize risk assessment for the workplace.
• Keep regularly informed of how they execute their assignment, of any difficulties encountered or lack of resources to Head office.
• Take all the precautionary measures and required to forestall or prevent a security accident or incident.

Minimum Qualification:

• Graduate in any discipline Engineering with postgraduation in Environmental Engineering
• Minimum experience of 15 years in relevant field, out of which minimum 6 years experience should be in similar role in transportation infrastructure projects.

• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through patience, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to read communication styles of team members and clients who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
• Work experience in both an independent and team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Strong team player and effective team leader.
• Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
• Ensure compliance of the Systra Group policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards.
