K ey Relationships
The IT Asset principal specialist liaises with all Asset managers worldwide and with managers, Service managers and other stakeholders requesting global IT asset report. This could include:
- Service managers for workplace and collaboration tools
- Service Delivery and Support organization
- Technical finance teams
- Technical teams for integrations
- Local Field supports.
- Outsourcing provider
- Service Managers for infrastructure and workplace
R elevant Work Experience
The IT Asset principal specialist should have direct, documented, and verifiable experience with the following:
- Work in an IT asset environment for at least 3 years, have a good understanding of the Asset life cycle, global reports and the level of quality and accuracy.
- Have worked with ServiceNow for at least 2 years.
- Strong analytical, data processing and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in process formulation and improvement.
- Have fun in discovering new technology tools and apply to our needs.
- Ability to manage problems, build collaborative relationships and drive strategic direction.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key business and technical concepts, and then effectively communicate these concepts with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and to manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively address problems and situations.
- As it is a global role, communication needs to be fluent and good understandable in english and travel and fly abroad a few times a year needs to be acceptable.
Education
- Masters degree in Business Management, IT or other related IT field.
- Technology asset life cycle (whether digital technology, information, financial or physical assets), best practice governance, tools and services.
- Policy, process, and procedure development and implementation.
- Data processing, analysis and quality management tools.
- Engagement with sourcing, procurement and vendor management legal, tax and accountancy advisors for additional information.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred :
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V3 certification.
- Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) for ServiceNow.
Knowledge and Skill
- Strategic planning skills The IT Asset principal specialist needs to have the next maturity level in mind and plan step by step the action towards it.
- Communication skills The IT Asset principal specialist will be required to communicate and collaborate intensively with other teams. A mature Asset management is high dependent on many actors and system integrations. The IT Asset principal specialist should anticipate presenting analyses in person and in written formats.
- Financial analysis The IT Asset principal specialist needs to understand the technical dependencies with the finance systems then be able to do financial analysis.
- Project management New Asset CI s and their life cycle implementations or new Mergers Acquisition integrations will require solid project management skills.
- Adaptability Demonstrates flexibility within a variety of changing situations, while working with individuals and groups. Changes his or her own ideas or perceptions in response to changing circumstances. Alters standard procedures, when necessary and multi-tasks when required.
