Key Responsibilities:
- Craft compelling copy and captions tailored to various client brands, ensuring alignment with their identity and objectives.
- Develop a deep understanding of client brands, their market positioning, and target audiences to create resonant messaging.
- Create and maintain social media calendars, strategizing content across platforms to maximize engagement and reach.
- Generate creative ideas for full-fledged social media and outdoor campaigns, collaborating closely with the design and strategy teams.
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and quality across all written content.
- Engage in wordplay and creative writing to make each piece of content stand out and connect with audiences.
- Proofread and edit content to uphold the highest standards of grammar and punctuation.
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to advise on content strategy.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Exceptional command over English and Gujarati languages, capable of crafting engaging content in both.
- A self-proclaimed grammar Nazi with an eye for detail and a passion for perfection in written communication.
- Creativity in wordplay and a knack for storytelling that aligns with brand personas and marketing goals.
- Previous work experience in radio as a programmer or similar roles preferred, showcasing an ability to engage audiences through words.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms, their unique dynamics, and how to optimize content for each.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related fields.
