Job description
Job Description : - As a data platform architect, work with execution teams from thought to actions, offering deep technical subject matter expertise for successfully deploying medium/large scale data solutions in the enterprise, using modern data/analytics technologies on premise and cloud.- Construct comprehensive technical, security, data and operational architecture and design outlines featuring modern data technologies and cloud data services proving modernization value proposition.- Display skill by exhibiting technical topics in front of an audience.- Compare solution alternatives across both technical and business parameters which support the define cost and service conditions.- Stay learned on new and emerging technologies/patterns/methodologies and market offerings that may be of interest to our clients.- Design appropriate data models for the use in transactional and big data environments as an input into Machine Learning processing.- Strong Scala/Python Development Experience is obligatory.- 9-12 years of Data Engineering experience working with both distributed architectures, ETL, EDW and Big Data technologies.- Experience with Big Data Stack (Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Zookeeper, Yarn), streaming tool - Kafka, orchestration tool - Airflow, Nifi is highly desired.- Demonstrable knowledge & Experience using Google Cloud Big Query is mandatory.- Experience with DataProc & DataFlows on Google Cloud Platform is highly desired.- Go through with DWBI modelling and ingestion framework is highly regarded.- Extensive experience working with SQL across a variety of databases.- Experience working with both structured and unstructured data sources using cloud analytics (Cloudera , Hadoop etc.).- Acquaintance with Data Mapping, Modelling and Analytics tools.- Proven ability in one or more of the following programming or scripting languages- Scala, Python, JavaScript, Java, R, UNIX Shell.- Experience with Google Cloud Services such as Streaming + Batch, Cloud Storage, Cloud Dataflow, Data Proc , DFunc, Big Query & Big Table.- Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills and collaboration using Jira, Confluence and other tools.- Excellent written and verbal communication, intellectual curiosity, a passion to understand and solve problems, consulting & customer service.
