Job description
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs. YT-thumbnail Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and concepts. Design user interfaces and experiences for YouTube products and features, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing. Work with the design team to maintain and evolve the YouTube design system, ensuring consistency and coherence across all products and platforms. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs. Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. 1+ years of experience . Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with motion design and prototyping tools is a plus.
