JOB SUMMARY

The Technology & Data Solutions (TDS) business unit is the Syneos Health accelerator for life sciences innovation. TDS houses our advanced technology acquisitions, homegrown products & applications, actively participates in new M&A and partnership activities, delivers critical insights as part of our integrated strategy for customers and drives enterprise-wide adoption and change management for innovative tech & data solutions. Our work supports getting meaningful new medicines to patients faster, with greater positive impact. The Senior Programmatic Campaign Manager supports our business goals by launching, managing and optimizing campaigns using programmatic demand-side platforms (DSPs) in support of our clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Set up, traffic & manage programmatic buys across multiple demand-side platforms.

· Create campaigns within DSPs – data onboarding, A/B testing, rotation setup, tracking implementation, foresight in campaign structure to prepare for optimizations and success, setting bid strategies, etc.

· Manage pacing and evaluate performance to ensure KPI delivery, identify & implement optimizations, proactively make recommendations & provide campaign insights and evaluating at detailed levels including geographic areas, audiences and content.

· Evaluate and deliver actionable audience insights and optimization-based insights per the cadence needed to enhance campaign strategy/goals.

· Understand how to manage different kinds of goals and requirements (awareness, cost per action (CPA), viewability, brand safety).

· Understand how programmatic fits within media plans/objectives to develop/execute successful strategies.

· Mentor and coach junior team members across the business.

Qualifications

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math).

· Experience working on at least two different self-service DSPs (e.g., DV 360, Trade Desk, Amobee, Xandr, Pulse point, Lasso).

· Strong experience in Excel, including pivot tables, chart making and manipulation of data sets for analysis.

· Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, troubleshooting capabilities, and strong attention to detail.

· Skilled at using data to inform decisions and innovative ideas 

· Experience with the Google Marketing Platform, including Tag setup (Google Tag Manager) and ad trafficking in Campaign Manager 360 (formerly DCM).

· Background in digital analytics and/or audience data management platforms (Google Analytics or Adobe), as well as how to use these tools in paid media campaigns

· Experience as a programmatic trader setting up and managing campaign tactics such as location targeting (geo-fencing), data targeting, contextual targeting and 3 rd party audience targeting.

· Trafficking display and video creatives in at least two ad servers.

· Experience setting bid strategies across RTB and PMP (private, preferred, guaranteed) inventory.

· Interpreting campaign data and providing strategic recommendations to client services.

· Strategies and tactics across all channels including but not limited to Display, Video, Native, Audio, Connected TV, and more.

· Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns at a time while still paying strict attention to detail.
