About The Role We are a new age digital buying house in the Active wear, Lingerie, Shapewear, Swimwear category for women seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Control Executive. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in quality control management and will be responsible for defining quality standards aligned to client requirements, conducting FPT & GPT, running audits for each batch of production, and working closely with our partner garment factories.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines in accordance with client requirements.
- Conduct Fabric Physical Testing (FPT) and Garment Physical Testing (GPT) to ensure quality and consistency in production.
- Conduct audits of each batch of production to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Work closely with partner garment factories to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner.
- Provide feedback and guidance to production teams to improve quality control processes and techniques.
- Identify and escalate quality-related issues to management for timely resolution.
- Collaborate with the production and design teams to develop new products and ensure quality standards are met from concept to production.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Travel extensively to visit factories and attend production runs.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in fashion design, textile engineering or related field prefer from NIFT, Pearl Academy or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in quality control management.
- Strong understanding of garment construction and production processes.
- Ability to work independently and be hands-on with production teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
- Willingness to travel extensively to partner garment factories to conduct audits and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Knowledge of quality control tools and techniques, such as Six Sigma, is a plus.
