Job description
- We are seeking a creative and experienced Product Content Writer to join our dynamic team
- As a Product Content Writer, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and user-focused content that showcases our products, informs customers, and contributes to a positive user experience
- The product Content Writer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality documentation that enhances the user experience and facilitates understanding of complex technical concepts
- The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology, a strong writing portfolio, and the ability to translate technical details into engaging, easy-to-understand content
1. Product Descriptions:
- Develop clear and concise product descriptions that highlight key features, benefits, and use cases.
- Collaborate with product managers and marketing teams to gather information and insights.
2. User Guides and Manuals:
- Create user-friendly guides, manuals, and documentation to help users understand product functionalities and best practices.
3. Feedback Incorporation:
- Gather and incorporate user feedback into content updates to continuously improve product documentation.
4. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to understand the product roadmap and upcoming features.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation including user guides, system manuals, API documentation, and release notes.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and clarity in all documentation.
5. Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs):
- Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other SMEs to gather information and translate product details into accessible documentation.
6. Document Review and Editing:
- Review and edit documentation for grammar, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
- Implement feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality.
7. Documentation Planning:
- Participate in project planning to determine documentation needs and timelines.
- Coordinate with project teams to align documentation release schedules with product launches.
8. User Experience Enhancement:
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure that documentation aligns with user interface design and enhances the overall user experience.
9. Update and Maintain Documentation Libraries Release Notes
- Keep documentation repositories up-to-date with the latest product releases and changes.
- Implement version control and maintain documentation history.
- Collaborate with product managers and development teams to create release notes and update documentation with new features and enhancements.
10. Training Materials:
- Develop training materials for internal teams and customers to facilitate understanding and adoption of AI and process mining technologies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience as a content writer, preferably in a technology or AI Process Mining.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing product-related content, including product descriptions, user guides, and other relevant materials.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Tools: Proficient in using documentation tools and documentation platforms like Doc 360 or similar.
Soft Skills:
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Writing Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
