Job Summary:

The Key Account Manager plays a critical role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key B2B clients in the education technology (EdTech) industry. This position focuses on understanding client needs, providing excellent customer service, and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling. The Key Account Manager collaborates with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction, identify opportunities for product enhancements, and contribute to the overall success of the company in the education market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and nurture relationships with key clients, including school districts..
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, understanding their needs, goals, and challenges.
  3. Conduct regular account reviews and proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Pedagogy, and Customer Success, to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and successful implementation of solutions.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, app updates and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service, including addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and managing escalations in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Prepare and deliver effective presentations, proposals, and business reviews to key clients, showcasing the value and benefits of company solutions.
  8. Collaborate with the Sales team in the development and execution of strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  9. Gather and analyze customer feedback, market insights, and usage data to provide input for product development and improvement.
  10. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of account activities, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts using CRM systems or other designated tools.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (required); MBA or advanced degree (preferred).
  2. Proven experience in key account management, business development, or sales in the EdTech industry, preferably working with educational institutions or school districts
