Short Description
An individual contributor who provides expert post-sales support of software and/or hardware systems, sub-systems and/or applications for customers or field personnel utilizing telephone and remote diagnostic capabilities. Acts as the SME for complex issues and is the internal representative in critical escalations. Proactively reviews customer networks and determines where there may be issues by using multiple combined SW / HW components or cross multiple platforms using multiple protocols. Works with management and teams to implement. Displays expertise in industry protocols , solutions and customer situational management. Independently works on problems of diverse scope. May include lab management , mentoring lower level engineers, project management.
Job Description
EXPERIENCE
8+ years of core experience in information security as a team member/lead.
Candidate should have worked in operational and/or consulting and/or auditing roles.
Candidate should have a wide-breadth experience across all areas of information security.
Graduate in Science and/or Engineering preferably in Computer Science / Information Technology.
Skills
Practical knowledge of application, database, operating system (Unix and windows), virtualization and network security.
Design secure architecture as per client's requirement.
Ensure CIA of information at all levels
Implement hardening standards at each level.
Extensive knowledge of firewalls, UTMs, IPS, WAF and associated technologies.
Integration of elements with SIEM and it's management
Management of anti-malware and data leakage prevention technologies
Acts as expert in mitigation/closure of vulnerabilities in each system
Exception management
Incident Response and escalations
Experience
5 - 6 years of experience and a Bachelor degree or equivalent, or 4 years of experience and a Master degree or equivalent
