Job description
- People leadership role with direct supervision of 10-12 colleagues. Provide onsite leadership to a larger set of colleagues in Bangalore.
- Lead Accounting of Fixed Assets and ensure that AXP Fixed Asset Register accurately and timely captures all asset movements including Capitalization, Amortization, Disposal and Transfers
- Lead Accounting for AXP JV Partners related to partner settlements and revenue bookings.
- Build, Execute and Maintain a robust Control and Compliance environment which is critical to ensure compliance with Fixed Asset Policy ie GAP 360-01.
- Lead Collaboration with multiple stakeholders viz, GREWE, AET, External and Internal Auditors, SEC Regulatory Reporting, GSM to accomplish accounting tasks and more viz Physical verification, Audit, Cash Flows etc
- Drive efficiencies vide automation, accelerating accounting processes.
Required Qualifications: Academic
- The incumbent should be a qualified accountant (CA, ICWA) or MBA Finance with at least 8+ years of post-qualification experience or 10-15 years of post-qualification experience with B Com/ M Com / CA Intermediate.
Required Qualifications: Additional
- The incumbent will be required to have strong accounting (US GAAP / IFRS ) reconciliation knowledge, policy awareness control mindset.
- Strong communication, relationship management collaboration skills while closely working with various stakeholders across Controllership, Business Finance, Audit and Control groups, etc
- Proven People Leadership Skills including developing staff.
- High proficiency in MS-Office applications, Oracle Applications, Essbase, Power BI etc
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve queries with the ability to deal with large set of data, perform trend variance analysis and creating meaningful insights.
- Self-starter with excellent verbal written communication, presentation skills.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvements.
- Quick learner, an eye for detail and ability to work during ambiguity.
