Job description

BestEx is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team and oversee the quality of all products and services relating to the Algorithmic Trading Framework. The QA Engineer's responsibilities include conformance testing, designing use cases and test cases together with developers, documenting new changes and ensuring functionality is as expected and robustness is maintained (for example through backtesting), creating regression tests, helping out developers with any testing needs and initiatives, etc. Attention to detail is essential, as is an ability to anticipate the interdependency of new components to the existing system.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have

• 5-10 years experience in a Quality Assurance role
• Solid experience in QA automation as well as manual testing, preferably under Windows
• Experience in SQL, preferably PostgreSQL
• Experience in Python is a plus
• Some experience in C++, or at least of testing C++ based products is mandatory
• Knowledge of trading systems is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• An interest in financial markets
