The American School of Bombay (ASB), located in the heart of Mumbai, a vibrant and welcoming city on the coast of India seeks seeks an educator with a growth mindset to join our team of collaborative and passionate international educators to teach French in the Secondary School. In this role, proficiency in French language skills, understanding of developmentally appropriate practices for adolescents acquiring language, and solid pedagogical foundation will be necessary to foster inquiry-driven and project-based learning experiences.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited program and teaching certification.
• A minimum of three years of relevant teaching experience in a K-12 accredited school.
• Fluency and accuracy as a reader, writer, speaker, and listener in French.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that promote collegial interaction across cultures.
• Experience with the IB Diploma language acquisition program.
• A commitment to DEIJ and SEL learning practices.
