Job Title: Data Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, a strong analytical mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to provide valuable insights that contribute to informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities - Data Collection and Cleaning: Acquire and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and extract relevant information.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation:Conduct in-depth analysis using statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data. Generate actionable insights and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Dashboard Development:Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and metrics. Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate complex data findings effectively.
- Predictive Modeling:Develop and implement predictive models to forecast business trends and outcomes. Evaluate model performance and iterate on models to improve accuracy.
- Data Quality Assurance:Establish and maintain data quality standards and processes to ensure the reliability of analytical results. Identify and address data quality issues in a timely manner.
- Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, engineers, and stakeholders, to understand business objectives and deliver insights. Provide support and insights to inform decision-making processes across various departments.
- Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of data analysis workflows.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science).
- Proven experience (2-5 years) as a Data Analyst in a professional setting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools/languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a related field.
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Industry-specific knowledge relevant to the employer's business.
