Position : POS Integration and Database SpecialistDuration : Full timeLocation : RemoteExperience : 4+ YearsPrimary Skills : SQL,SAP Dining, POSJob Overview :We are seeking an experienced Offshore Associate with expertise in Point of Sale (POS) systems, SQL database querying, and Integration Testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Point of Sale (POS), SQL databases, and possess excellent teamwork and communication skills. Dining POS experience would be an added value. The role involves data review, validation, troubleshooting log files, and conducting System Integration Testing within the POS environment.Key Responsibilities :- POS and SQL Expertise :Demonstrate proficiency in POS systems, SQL database querying, and Integration Testing.Prior experience with Dining POS systems is highly advantageous.- Database Knowledge :Review data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Conduct data validation and have a solid understanding of database structures and data structures.Knowledge of how data is maintained and updated within a database.- System Integration Testing :Execute System Integration Testing procedures, with a focus on POS systems.Identify and resolve integration issues, ensuring seamless operation.- Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.Communicate effectively with onshore and offshore team members.- Communication Skills : Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.Provide clear and concise updates on project status and issues.- Log File Review and Troubleshooting :Review and troubleshoot log files to identify and resolve issues.Document findings and solutions for future reference.- Promotion Testing:Conduct promotion testing within POS systems, ensuring accurate implementation.Collaborate with the team to address any issues arising from promotion testing.- Transaction Volume Experience:Demonstrate experience working with a large number of transactions.Ensure the scalability and reliability of systems in high-transaction environments.- TAX Validation:Perform TAX validation within POS systems, comparing old and new documents.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accurate reporting.- Store-Specific Spot Checks :Conduct spot checks assigned to specific stores to ensure POS system functionality.Identify and address any issues proactively.- Sorting :Implement effective sorting mechanisms within databases and POS systems.Optimize data organization for efficient retrieval and reporting.- CTM SCO Troubleshooting :Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CTM SCO (Self-Checkout) systems.Collaborate with relevant teams to address and prevent recurrence.Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience in Point of Sale (POS), SQL, and Integration Testing.Strong understanding of database structures and data maintenance.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Previous experience with Dining POS systems is a plus.
