Role
- Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, network, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and system improvements Enable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivity
- Analyze existing IT systems and operational workflows to identify areas for automation and process improvement
- Implement and integrate automation solutions into existing IT infrastructure and operational processes
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
- Serve as the subject matter expert supporting MAC OSX, Windows, and all common office software and applications, such as Microsoft, Adobe and G-Suite products and MDM
- Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, and printers
- Analyze staff needs, identify vulnerabilities, boost efficiency and accuracy
- Execute system and network administration, design, documentation, implementation, and testing., ensuring components meet needs and work together seamlessly
- Troubleshoot to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Maintain hardware and software inventory
Responsibilities
- 3 to 6 years' experience in IT support/operational automation
- Experience with or knowledge of operating systems; current equipment and technologies,enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance-monitoring tools
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure management
- Ability to keep company passwords and information confidential
- Preferred Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or similar relevant field
- Problem solver and attention to details
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Hands on experience with diverse computer systems and networks
- In depth knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Certification in Information Technology will be an advantage (e.g. ITIL, ITSM, CCNA or CCNP etc)
Qualifications
- Preferred Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or similar relevant field
