Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering with at least two years of experience in the production of steel fabrications. This position will be based in Hyderabad and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule production activities for the fabrication of steel components, ensuring timely completion of orders while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
Interpret and understand engineering fabrication drawings, including dimensional specifications, material requirements, and assembly instructions, to ensure accurate production processes.
Coordinate and oversee the cutting of steel materials according to project requirements, optimizing material usage and minimizing waste.
Supervise production activities on the shop floor, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and production schedules.
Conduct regular inspections of fabricated components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications, identifying and addressing any defects or deviations.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure adequate stock availability and timely deliveries.
Provide guidance and training to production staff on proper manufacturing techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
Maintain accurate production records, including work orders, inspection reports, and inventory records, to track progress, monitor performance, and facilitate reporting.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements in production operations, implementing solutions to enhance productivity and quality.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of two years of experience in production, preferably in the fabrication of steel components or structures.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering fabrication drawings.
Fluency in both English and Hindi, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of production planning principles and techniques.
Experience in steel material cutting and fabrication processes.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Familiarity with quality control methods and inspection techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
