EY-Assurance – French Coach

As part of our EY-Assurance Team, the principal objectives will be to ensure that consistent, and high-quality service is provided by the coach by taking end-to-end project ownership and accomplishing the define goals. 

The opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate French Language Coach to join our team to provide personalized and comprehensive language coaching to individuals or groups. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the language needs of the team, developing customized training plans, and delivering high-quality French language instruction to improve speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension abilities of the team members.

Your key responsibilities

• Assess employee’s language proficiency levels and identify their specific language goals
• Design and implement personalized language training programs for individuals or groups
• Conduct one-on-one or small group coaching sessions to deliver intensive French language courses
• Develop and utilize effective teaching strategies and materials to enhance language learning
• Provide ongoing feedback and assessments to track employee’s progress and provide recommendations for improvement
• Assist employees in developing effective learning strategies and techniques to promote independent language acquisition
• Guide employees in proper pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural aspects of the French language
• Incorporate authentic materials, such as articles, videos, and audio recordings, into language coaching sessions
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and methodologies in language teaching and incorporate them into coaching practices
• Collaborate with other language coaches and instructors to develop and improve language coaching materials and curriculum

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Master’s degree / C2 level (In French) or equivalent
• Minimum 6-9 years of prior experience practicing language
• Familiarity with language assessment tools and proficiency exams, such as DELF and DALF
• Native-level fluency in French, both written and spoken
• Proven experience in language coaching or teaching French as a second language
• Strong knowledge of French grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching techniques to various learning styles
• Proficiency in English to effectively communicate and explain language concepts to non-native speakers
• Experience working with learners at various proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced
• Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their language goals
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple language coaching projects simultaneously
