Sr. BI Engineer
Overview To help us continue our successful trajectory, Edifecs is looking for a candidate to join our team as a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer. Edifecs is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer with a strong range of skills and experience in data organization and analysis and experience with common cloud-based ERP systems. What you will do: Provide business intelligence architectural and technical insights on projects. Conduct and lead data modeling and design activities in data integration projects. Architect and develop data collection platforms for efficient data evaluation. Collaborate with application owners and integration specialists to gain understanding of key BI objectives. Develop and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other applications. Work with project teams to identify new improvements through data analysis. Provide timely updates to project stakeholders for allocated tasks and projects. Lead data analysis and deep dive initiatives and present outcomes to project leads or senior leadership. Document analysis practices and draft SOPs for maintaining reports. Provide training and documentation to end users or other team members on how to use BI tools. Assist in troubleshooting if issues arise while ensuring resolutions are documented. What you will bring: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or mathematics. 5 years of experience in SQL, SQL Server, ETL, and similar systems or programs. Strong fluency in statistics and scripting. Understanding of data concepts such as data governance, lifecycle management and privacy principles, data modeling, and data warehousing tools and techniques. 3-5 years of experience with using data modeling and business intelligence tools, especially Microsoft Power BI. Strong analytical and problem solving skills will help in identifying and solving business problems. Proven track record in regularly assessing data driven results and finding opportunities to urging enhancements. Effective communication skills are necessary. Ability to collaborate with various groups. Basic understanding of Fin Ops domain is helpful. Quick ramp-up and adaptability is helpful in this role. Experience with generative AI tools to enhance efficiency and responsiveness in data analysis led decision making.
