What will you be doing
We are looking for an programmer/developer who on DB side who can work on building data base components including functions, procedures and packages. We need are looking for person who worked on any RDBS in similar manner.
Experience – 3 - 5 years
Mandatory –
- Hands on experience on PostgreSQL/Oracle on programming side.
- Should have experience in writing procedures/packages & functions.
- Experience on creating table indexes
- Experience on index creation and check the query plans.
- Should be familiar with coding standards and best practices.
- Having understanding on development life cycle and configuration management.
- Good communication skills.
- Logical reasoning and design approach for a problem/task.
Nice to have –
- PostgreSQL experience and performance tuning experience.
- Basic Unix commands or any scripting language.
- Experience on tools like JIRA and code review tools.
- Retail domain knowledge is and added advantage.
